Curriculum CD Study Aids

E-Books—Each CD includes between 40 and 80 e-books in three formats: PDF (printable), EPUB (tablets), and MOBI (Kindle). A downloadable e-book is available on our Sample e-book page. You can copy any version to your computer and make sure they work with your e-reader technology.

Reading Assignments—The Printable Study Guide included on each Curriculum CD is organized into four sections. The first section focuses on book descriptions and reading assignments. Sample Reading Recommendations from the Ancient Greece Curriculum CD includes the following:

Historical Divisions—The second section of each Study Guide is organized into historical divisions. Timelines, Character lists, and Era summaries are organized by historical eras so that students can study one division at a time. Details about how each Study unit is divided into historical sub divisions is described on our Civilizations page.

  • Short biographies of famous characters from the Persian War period.
  • Timelines describing major events of the Athenian Empire.
  • Era Summary describing events and characters during the Decline of Greece.

Maps—The third section of each Study Guide focuses on Historical maps, Outline maps, and Geography Terms. Example pages are given below.

Appendices—The final section of the Study Guide includes an appendix of additional resources. The most important of these is accountability forms to help track reading progress.
